What's new

Updates and Amendments to Electrical Work Section — August 2026

Masterspec has updated the 7000 Series CBI electrical sections across the Minor, Basic, Standard, and Services libraries to align with the Electricity (Safety) Amendment Regulations 2025 and the related reference to AS/NZS 3000:2018. Along with a general format refresh of the work sections, the updates remove certified design clauses; revise RCD, switchboard, AFDD, downlight, conduit, and plug/socket requirements; and add guidance notes on current and forthcoming standards for emergency lighting and socket outlets.
