Creating a project specification

 Assemble required files

PC users (operating with Masterspec Link)

  • Use Masterspec Link to select required work sections within Masterspec Basic, Masterspec Standard or Masterspec Engineering.  Masterspec Link automatically assembles and formats the document. 
  • Masterspec Minor does not require work sections to be selected.  Instead the whole system downloads as one file.

For Mac users (and PC users not able to use Masterspec Link)

  • Open a document based on the Masterspec template.  This template contains the entire Masterspec system. 
  • Delete not applicable work sections
  • Where required add work sections provided by others
 Edit and customise work sections
  • Delete clauses that do not apply

  • Add new required clauses

  • Add project specific selections

  • Renumber clauses where necessary

 Final presentation
  • Proof read


  • Check headers and footers


  • Update the table of contents


  • Print, bind and distribute
