Masterspec Professional Development Workshops

We are pleased to present a new format to our Masterspec workshops for 2011, to be held nationally in various centres. Each of the one-day workshops will consist of two smaller sessions designed to improve the efficiency and quality of your specification production.

WORD FOR WINDOWS PC USERS (MORNING SESSION)
As Masterspec is delivered through Microsoft Word® this session focuses on those features of Word that specifically relate to using and formatting your Masterspec specification. This is your chance to get to grips with headers and footers, table of contents, the Link macros, inserting other data and much more. For Masterspec Link users only.

SPECIFICATIONS, NOT DRAWINGS, BUT PART OF DESIGN (AFTERNOON SESSION)
Many design decisions cannot be expressed by drawing or are impractical to convey by drawing. These rely on words for their expression. The “Specifications, not drawings, but part of design” session has been constructed to help make the specification process easier, clearer and more engaging for you.

We will look at specifications from all angles; why do you need to, what do you specify, how to specify, who uses them, when to specify and where do I start? We will also include explanations of the Masterspec and the CBI systems.

For larger groups, inhouse workshops are also available on request from Natalie Usher - phone 0-9-631 7044 or email
