GENERAL SECTIONS
1102 TENDER SUMMARY has been expanded to allow more detailed coverage, and the format/wording changed to not only align with CBI but, also reflect NZS 4202.
With new versions of NZIA and NBC Conditions of Contract, sections 1231NA, 1231NB, 1231NG, & 1231NS have been updated.

FOOTINGS AND FOUNDATIONS
If you want a simple strip footing, but don’t want to use the complex concrete sections, we now have, 2361 STRIP FOOTINGS for non-specific design footings to NZS 3604 or NZS 4229.
To sit on top of those, if all you need is a simple blockwork or concrete foundation wall, but don’t want to use the complex concrete masonry or concrete sections, we now have 2362 FOUNDATION WALLS for foundation walls to NZ 3604.

CONCRETE MASONRY/BLOCKWORK
Up until now in our concrete masonry sections, it has not been clear what the basis of the design used was. This potentially was an issue with, consent, supervision/observation, grouting, certifying, CCC, and the relationship to non-specific and specific design. The heavily revised section 3320 CONCRETE MASONRY is now clearly for non-specific design to NZS 4229 and the equally revised 3321 CONCRETE MASONRY - ENGINEERED is now for specific design to NZS 4230.

FIRE STOPPING
New section 7382 FIRE STOPPING SYSTEMS provides for fire stopping penetrations for pipes and ducts and the edges of fire rated elements.

CENTRAL HEATING SYSTEMS
New section 7513 CENTRAL HEATING SYSTEMS for hot water radiator based heating systems.
